Dec. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Taiwan’s Taiex Index was little changed at 8,740.25 as of 9:25 a.m. in Taipei trading.
Nan Kang Rubber Tire Co. (2101 TT) gained 2 percent to NT$49.35, the most since Dec. 6. The tire maker will increase product prices by about 8 percent from January because of a continued increase in raw material prices, the company said in a statement to the Taiwan Stock Exchange yesterday.
Taiwan Glass Industrial Corp. (1802 TT) increased 3.4 percent to NT$36.80, the most since Dec. 1. The company’s board of directors approved a plan to invest NT$3 billion on a new super thin glass production line to meet market demand, the company said in a statement to the stock exchange.
