Post Time:Jul 06,2011Classify:Company NewsView:549

Miner Fleet Management Group has acquired United States Emergency Glass Services (USEG), a leading national provider of storefront repair and maintenance services.

As part of the acquisition, USEG CEORhonda Lambert will join the Miner team as vice president of the glass and front door division.

The acquisition gives Miner a leading presence in North America and reinforces its position as the largest privately held provider of round-the-clock repair service and planned maintenance support for locks, doors and glass. USEG’s clients include retail stores, supermarkets, convenience stores and restaurants. The company is based in Stoughton, Mass.

“This gives our customers access to additional industry experts and an expanded and improved service offering with a company they have already grown to trust,” says Jeff Schmeck, president of Miner Fleet Management Group. “Our relationship with USEG is a perfect example of Miner’s core investment strategy of acquiring strong entrepreneurial management teams to consolidate a fragmented industry.”

Miner Fleet Management Group, a subsidiary of the New Braunfels-based Miner Holding Co., provides equipment installation, repair and maintenance services for a range of industries.
