A poll of BW readers in March 2011 indicated that 29 percent of those asked would pay $5-$9.99 monthly for curbside recycling, while only 12.6 percent indicated they would pay $10 or higher. "Many residents told us the price tag was out of reach for many families," said Mayor Dave Bieter. "I'm thrilled [Republic and Boise] have worked together to make the program more cost-effective and accessible."
