Glass TEXpo? Continues in San Antonio

Glass TEXpo continued today in San Antonio, Texas, with sessions on everything from social media to energy codes to analyzing a company's break-even point.

 

Debra Levy, publisher of USGNN.com™/USGlass magazine, started the day off with a special "roll-up-your-sleeves" session called "Facebook + Twitter + Groupon! Oh My!" Levy discussed the value of social media marketing and how to combine a company's social media content with sharing through social networks to create targeted marketing results.

 

Felix Lopez of the Texas State Energy Conservation Office followed with a session about energy codes in the state and how they pertain to commercial windows, residential windows and issues of enforcement.

 

Lyle Hill, managing director of Keytech North America, addressed proper break-even analysis during his seminar. He stressed how crucial it is for a company to know it's break-even point-and how to calculate what this is through detailed analysis.

 

In addition, a number of suppliers have exhibited their latest products during the Glass TEXpo trade show held throughout the day. The trade show runs until 4 p.m.

 

The event is co-sponsored by the Texas Glass Association, USGlass, DWM and WINDOW FILM magazines.
