Energy saving and thermal efficiency are top of the global agenda, so it’s fitting that the theme of glasstec 2008 is Glass and Energy. Leading warm edge technology supplier Edgetech will once again be using the exhibition to showcase how its market leading, thermally efficient spacer systems can help manufacturers, processors, installers and specifiers meet surging market demands for high performance, energy efficient glass units.

Peter Hinsen, Edgetech’s European Sales Director comments: “It’s Edgetech’s fourth consecutive appearance at glasstec and we’re back with even more exciting developments in the arenas of manufacturing productivity and energy efficiency. Our stand will be interactive so visitors can explore for themselves the features and benefits that make Super Spacer® and Super Spacer TrisealTM among the leading warm edge spacer systems in the world. For those more techincally minded visitors, we’ll have on site demonstrations of manual product application, with fully automated applications on show at several machinery manufacturers’ stands at the show. We’ll also be sharing our top test results from recent independent studies including reports from the BF (German Federal Flat Glass Association) and the internationally acclaimed Rosenheim Institute.

“Whether you want to know why Super Spacer TrisealTM is the favourite for fully automated production (fast approaching 100 lines globally with more being added weekly) and chosen by market leaders like Glass Troesch, Pilkington and JELD-WEN, or find out more about how we can help make your glass units meet and exceed the green agenda, visit us on Stand E20 in Hall 14. You can be assured of a warm welcome and you may well discover the warm edge technology to make a profitable difference to your business.”
