1 World Trade Center pedestal redesign features glass louvers

Architect David Childs has completed a new design for the glass pedestal of One World Trade Center, several months after the plan to use prismatic glass panels was scrapped due to difficulties producing the panels. The new design will feature back-lit glass louvers set at different angles, according to a Nov. 4 article in Crain's New York.
