Make it in Great Britain

Make it in Great Britain is a campaign (sponsored by BIS) aiming to transform the image of modern British manufacturing and to raise awareness of its importance for the economy.

As part of the campaign Make it in Great Britain has launched ‘30 under 30’. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase the young talent within our own industry. The idea is to find the 30 most promising rising stars working in manufacturing under the age of 30. The closing date for nomination is April 13th.

The Make it in Great Britain 30 under 30 will play an important role as Youth Champions; demonstrating that British manufacturing is dynamic and offers excellent career opportunities, and inspiring the next generation of budding manufacturing stars.

This is a great opportunity to raise the profile of the Glass Sector in the UK not only with the next generation but with BIS and the Government.
