Obeikan Float Glass Co., a subsidiary of the Obeikan Investment Group receives CE Market Certification. All products imported to the European Economic Area (EEA) must comply to the CE marking regulations. CE marking is a mandatory quality and safety conformity mark for products placed on the market in the European Economic Area.

Obeikan Glass Company is the first float glass factory in Saudi Arabia to receive CE Mark certification and is proud of this achievement, further demonstrating their dedication for the production of glass products to the highest manufacturing standard.
Nedal Eshgi, Deputy General Manager of Obeikan Glass Co., received the certification on behalf of the company from Mr Nigel Rees, CEO of the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF), the UK based, global glass industry trade association. The certificate of CE Mark conformity, in accordance with EN 572-9, was present to Obeikan during the 2012 inaugural GGF Middle East meeting on the 1st March 2012.
"We are very please to receive this certification within our 1st year of operation, this effort marks yet another milestone for the continual development of the Obeikan Glass Company and demonstrates our efforts to be a world leader in the manufacture of quality float glass products", Nedal Eshgi said. "We appreciate the efforts of the GGF to assist us in the preparation and certification of our company for this certification and achievement".
Since early 2011 Obeikan has manufactured quality float glass products conforming to the highest standards of quality and safety. Obeikan quickly gained attention in its domestic and exports markets as a supplier of quality product with a supply service that exceeds customer expectation. Obeikan Glass now exports product to 27 countries worldwide and is quickly gaining recognition as an independent supplier of choice.

The Obeikan Glass Company is based in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The facility was designed and commissioned by Five Steins, a French company with worldwide recognition for excellence in glass plant construction. Obeikan Glass Co. is the largest glass manufacturing facility of its kind in the Middle East region.
With a manufacturing capacity of 800 tons per day Obeikan is capable to produce clear & tinted float glass, to international quality standards, in a range of thickness from 3mm to 19mm. Obeikan Glass Co. produces an extensive range of sizes to accommodate the international demands for standard panel size as well as providing service to supply customer specific request. Obeikan produces glass to various production widths 3050/3210/3300/3660 providing the ability to meet the demands for supply to all international customers.
