Freefoam, the leading manufacturer of environmentally friendly and innovative roofline and rainwater products, announces it has recently developed a unique flexible ‘H’ soffit trim. Developed in conjunction with valued customer Willmott’s of Reading, this new addition to the soffit range features a flexible ‘spine’ allowing the trim to be bent to any angle between 90o and 180o.
Willmott’s of Reading approached Freefoam looking for a product that would resolve several ongoing soffit installation issues. George Petts, at Willmott’s, explains, “We were increasingly coming across building projects that required us to fit soffits together at varying angles, including porches, hip roofs with sloping soffits, and bay window corners. Whilst solutions acceptable to the customer could be found using existing trims, there was never a ‘one size fits all’ solution. This new trim is the answer! It’s absolutely perfect, giving us a tailor made product for all these situations. We’ve always found Freefoam to be very receptive to our ideas and suggestions for product development. It’s one of the many reasons why Freefoam is our major brand. It demonstrates their innovation and understanding of the marketplace and makes them such an excellent supplier to work with.”
Colin St John, UK General Manager commented ”We regularly work with customers to design and develop innovative solutions. Techniques and products in today’s construction industry are constantly evolving and our customers need us to listen when their needs change. The development of this trim is a great example of this working practice and shows that we are really serious about supporting our customers”
