The prevailing price of light alkali in Anhui and Zhejiang market is 1,900-1,970 yuan/ton and heavy alkali 2,050-2,100 yuan/ton. Impacted by the low market demands of downstream glass, printing and dyeing, the price has eased back.
As the market orientation is not very clear, many companies keep on sitting tight for the reduction of after-market price.
