The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has deferred action on proposed changes to testing, certification and labeling requirements of architectural safety glass and other non-children's products, according to a release from the Glass Association of North America. In a Nov. 8 notice, CPSC officials announced new rules for children's products, but said it decided to postpone making any changes for non-children's products--including architectural glass--at this time, claiming it needed more time to study the issues, according to the GANA release.
