Green building to help construction industry out of the doldrums

Growth in green buildings will, in turn,steer growth in the construction market after a 2-year slump. McGraw-Hill Construction researchers forecast that the U.S. market for new, non-residential 'green buildings' -- such as offices and factories --will more than double to as much as $145 billion in five years, according to a Jan. 11 Reuters report.
