CRL’s European headquarters complete and operational

Officials from C.R. Laurence Co., Los Angeles, announced that CRL of Europe has completed the construction of the company’s new 75,000 square-foot headquarters in Rochdale, near Manchester, England, and is now serving customers from this location.

The 75,000 square-foot building incorporates two stories of administration, sales, and technical support with more than 40 staff members. The large high cube construction warehouse features over 2,820 pallets, and 4,320 bin shelves of product, with the potential of over 34,000 product locations. Although the warehouse support team currently ships over 600 orders a week from this new distribution center, it can easily accommodate three times that volume.

The building design, common to all 28 CRL facilities around the globe, is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology, conveyor systems with automatic weigh stations and banding machinery, and a large Will Call Trade Counter operation to serve customers in relaxed, spacious surroundings. Over 34 full size product displays are featured at the Will Call Trade Counter to provide customers with hands on information about CRL’s diverse product lines.
