FeneTech receives second value creation award

For the second year in a row, fenestration business systems developer FeneTech, Aurora, Ohio,has been recognized as a leading value-creating company in Northeast Ohio, according to a June 7 release. Company President Ron Crowl and FeneTech staff members accepted the Crain’s Leading Edge award at a dinner in Cleveland in late May.

The awards recognize middle market companies that lead the region in value creation. FeneTech has doubled revenues since 2008 through overseas expansion and continuing customization and other work for its flagship product, the FeneVision ERP system for window and door makers and glass fabricators.

“Our growth during a major downtown in housing is driven by the incredible feedback our customers have provided over the past decade, which has improved the results our products deliver,”Crowl said in the release. “And each person in our organization shares credit for continuing to focus each day on customer success.”

The Leading Edge award is a joint program of The Entrepreneurs Edge and Crain’s Cleveland Business magazine. The Entrepreneurs Edge is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides services, programs, education, civic and networking opportunities to midmarket companies in Northeast Ohio, according to the release.

Qualifying companies operate within the 17 counties of Northeast Ohio and generate revenues up to $750 million. This year, 86 Northeast Ohio were honored based on their EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes) added to taxable employee compensation.
