Officials at the Glass Association of North America, Topeka, Kan.announced today that its new Web site to document GANA: Advocacy issues is now available online, according to a May 10 release. The announcement coincides with visits to Capitol Hill by GANA Executive Vice President Bill Yanek and others to lobby support for GANA's positions on energy legislation being considered in Congress.
"We are in Washington, D.C. to discuss pending Building Star legislation and educate members of Congress on GANA clean energy efforts," Yanek said in the release. "We are also directing Congressional staffers and GANA members to this new Web site. [It] will assist you in educating legislators, regulators and other commercial architectural glazing industry stakeholders on behalf of GANA."
The Web site includes video and Twitter updates from Yanek and others as they work toward progress during their D.C. visits.
