CSG Holding to start a largest waste heat generation project in China

A Signing Ceremony on Chengdu CSG Glass’s Waste Heat Generation Project has been held in Chengdu Wangjiang Hotel, which indicates that the project of the largest installed capacity, making use of heat from glass fumes, will be formally started in China. It will set an example for glass industry to develop circular economy, and promote the improvement of energy conservation technology

The Waste Heat Generation Project of Chengdu CSG will be installed a capacity of 12MW and put into production in September 2009. When operated, it will generate 75.26 million kilowatt hours of electricity, saves 22,400 tons of standard coal per year and reduce 54,500 tons of CO2 emission. It is a beneficial and environmental-friendly technical-innovation project, highly appreciated and supported by National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Finance, and Sichuan Provincial Government and its related departments.
