China Glass 2010 approaches

The 21th China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition (China Glass 2010) will take place at the China International Exhibition Center, Beijing on June 4-7, 2010. The China Glass exhibition has been growing steadily, and the 2010 event will for the first time cover an exhibition area of more than 200,000 square feet, according to a Dec. 6 release from show organizers, the Chinese Ceramic Society. As of mid November 2009, more than 700 companies from China and abroad were scheduled to participate in the exhibition. The exhibitor groups from United States, Germany, Italy and Belgium are scheduled to attend, and the Italian pavilion will host its exhibitors on more than 3,300 square feet, its largest pavilion since it started to attend “China Glass”. At time of publishing, the three halls for domestic exhibitors were reserved and 85 percent of Hall W1 for overseas companies has been sold. More than 300 Chinese companies are waitlisted for temporary exhibiting tents, which will be allocated in early December 2009, according to the release.Companies scheduled to attend include: PPG Industries, Pittsburgh; Glaston, Finland; Lisec and RHI, Austria; AGC Flat Glass and Shimadzu, Japan; Bystronic, Switzerland; and Chinese companies such as North Glass Technology Group Co., China CSG Holding Co., Weihai Blue Star Glass Holding Co. and China Yaohua Glass Group Corporation, according to the release.Organizers expect the final exhibitors count to top 800, and attendance numbers to top 30,000, including 3,000 overseas attendees, according to the release.
