PGC International announces January Webinar on fire-rated glazing

The Protective Glazing Council International, Topeka, Kan.,will host its first Webinar in the 2010 monthly Webinar series at noon on Jan. 29, according to a Dec. 15 release.The hour-long Webinars, for architects, building owners, specifiers, glazing contractors and others in the architectural community, are free and focus on various industry topics.

The Jan. 29 Webinar will be given by Devin Bowman, national sales manager for Technical Glass Products, Snoqualmie, Wash.In his presentation Understanding Fire-Rated Glass, Labeling Requirements, and Building Code Allowances, Bowman will discuss fire-rated glazing materials, their distinguishing characteristics and their role in fire protection.

Visitors to the PGC International Web site may now purchase videos of previous Webinars for download, including any handouts offered from the presentation. The first presentation for purchase, Mitigating the Threats to Electronic Assets with Glazing by Ron Waranowski, is available on the site for $4.95, and visitors will be able to download it immediately after paying by credit card.
