Zhejiang Glass posted 3Q sales of soda ash, an increase of 12%

Zhejiang Glass Co., Ltd. has announced its main operating data in the third quarter of 2008. The company respectively increases its sales of soda ash and flat glass by 12.11% and 34.74% and the output by 11.67% and 33.88%.

According to Zhejiang Glass, the soda ash business keeps on benefiting from low raw material cost and stable market demand in West China, so that the sales-output ratio comes up to 92%.

However, glass business, impacted by the increasing price of heavy oil, raises its cost. Luckily, the impact will be moderated.
