The 3rd Metal Furniture Design Competition to be held

The 3rd China Metal Furniture Design Competition, sponsored by China National Furniture Association Design Committee (CFDC), will be held on November 1, 2008–July 1, 2009.

The competition centers on the theme of “Culture of Lounge Furniture”. It goes for practitioners from China design institutes, schools, individuals and companies. The main materials of the design projects must be metal, glass, acryl and plastic.

Requirements of the competition:
Be original and in line with the theme of the competition;
Be comfortable and beneficial, and conform to human engineering;
Have a high market value and to some extent show future trend.

Works will be divided into two groups: schools and communities, and will be selected to Golded, Silver, Bronze, and Excellent Awards.
