The East China market of soda ash continues to decline

Glass, printing and dyeing companies in East China, running under their production capacity, keep low demand for soda ash, which leads to severe pressure for soda ash manufacturers to get deliver orders. Now, the factory price of light alkali in East China is 1,600 yuan/ton and heavy alkali 1,750 yuan/ton.

The source of soda ash is ordered once only and checked out at the end of a month after delivery. So, the low price may not mean much in this area.

Some companies in East China have reduced their production and some have stopped production. The aftermarket needs to be further studied.
