According to the new building standard, new buildings shall conserve 50% of energy. In China, buildings consume 40% of total energies, ranking the first in energy consumption, while 46% of energy is lost from windows and doors. Therefore, energy should be conserved from windows and doors.
The traditional method for windows and doors to insulate heat is by using heat insulating film, heat reflective film and Low-E glass. However, these products are weak in light transmittance and bring about light pollution. The high price of 300-400 yuan per square meter is too high to accept and not propitious for promoting these products. So, an energy-saving product is required to save raw materials, reduce the load of buildings and save energy from windows and doors.
Glass energy-efficient coatings, painted directly on ordinary building glass and auto glass, can efficiently solve the problem in heat insulation and preservation. With 80% of visible light transmittance and over 95% of ultraviolet insulation, the glass coating can reduce 2℃-5℃ of interior temperature in summer and prevent glass from fogging. Beside, the coating has 15-20 years of service life and half price of Low-E glass, and retards flames. This kind of heat insulating and energy-efficient glass coatings will be the first choice for buildings.
