GANA selects new chair for Insulating Division

The Glass Association of North America, Topeka, Kan.,elected Tracy Rogers, technical director, Edgetech IG, Cambridge, Ohio, as chair of its Insulating Division, according to a Jan. 28 GANA release.The division comprises insulating glass unit manufacturers and suppliers.

Rogers brings more than two decades of experience and knowledge of the fenestration industry to the position. While working in both the technical and sales/marketing segments of the fenestration industry, he has been technical marketing manager for Schlegel, with North Americanheadquarters in Rochester, N.Y.;general manager for ETC Laboratories, Rochester, N.Y.; director of sales & marketing for Amesbury Foam-Tite, Amesbury, Mass.; research and development manager for The Peachtree Cos. Norcross, Ga.; and business development manager for Intertek Testing Services, before taking his current position with Edgetech IG.

Rogers also is involved with several industry associations including AAMA, WDMA, NFRC, IGMA and ASTM. In addition to chairing task groups and committees for these organizations, he is 2nd vice president of the Glass Materials Council, chair of the GMC Marketing Committee and chair of the Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance Certification & Education Committee. He holds five U.S. patents relating to fenestration products.
