NFRC receives U.S. state department grant

Earlier this month, the National Fenestration Rating Council, Greenbelt, Md., received a grant from the U.S State Department to implement clean energy work in China under the Asia-Pacific Partnership's Clean Development and Climate program, according to an NFRC release Sept. 26.

NFRC was one of nine grant recipients chosen from a field of more than 90 submittals. Paula Dobriansky, under secretary of state for democracy and global affairs for APP on Clean Development and Climate, announced the award recipients at the U.S.-China-Australia Dialogue on Energy Security and Climate Change in Washington, D.C.. according to the release
