The American Architectural Manufacturers Association, Schaumburg, Ill., debuted its Green Building Survey at the Pacific Coast Builders Conference, June 25-27, San Francisco, according to a June 30 AAMA release. “We believe AAMA member products are essential elements in green buildings, homes and interiors spaces, but we need to learn more about the beliefs of builders, contractors and others in attendance at PCBC,” said Rich Walker, AAMA president and CEO, in the release. “Once we better understand the importance they place on fenestration products in achieving their green building goals, AAMA can provide guidance for their future product selections.” AAMA also will use the survey responses to shape the input, coordination and outreach it provides to building code bodies and authorities having jurisdiction, as green building “best practices” evolve into code requirements nationwide, according to the release.Visit www.aamanet.org to learn more.
