Brad Anderson, former project manager for the Macomb, Ill., Pella Corp. facility, will take over as vice president of operations at Efco Corp., a Pella company, Monett, Mo. "Efco is enhancing its manufacturing facility as part of our ongoing focus on continuous improvement, designed to take time and waste out of processes,” Anderson says. “Those efforts, now underway and continuing in the future are designed to enhance processes to deliver the best overall quality and value to Efco customers to meet their fenestration needs now and in the future." Anderson managed Pella's manufacturing operations in Macomb. “After a long career leading manufacturing operations at various Pella Corp. facilities, I am pleased to now lead the Efco team's operations to continue to deliver innovative, outstanding quality product solutions for Efco customers," Anderson says. Major plant upgrades also are underway. “Efco is upgrading its glass area as part of its continuous improvement process, designed to take time and waste out of processes, to enhance the overall value it provides customers,” says Kathy Krafka-Harkema, corporate public relations manager, Pella Corp. Pella, Iowa. “Specifically, Efco will be evaluating the layout of the facility to make the most efficient use of time, space, materials and human resources.” The upgrading process will continue over the next several months, according to a March 11 article in the Monett Times. “Efco is proud to provide careers for about 1,600 team members serving satisfied customers across the country with quality products sold through Efco's extensive network of dedicated sales representatives,” says Mike Farquhar, Efco president. “The Efco team welcomes opportunities to build on our commitment to technology, innovation and customer satisfaction to keep pace with the evolving needs of our customers."Share this article:
