According to the Customs Statistics, from January to August, 2008, the export value of glass container (customs code: 7010) is 411,000,000 US Dollars, up 43.99% year-on-year; the export volume is 616,000,000 kg, up 35.55%; the average unit price is 67,000,000 US Dollars, up 6.23%.

From the major export market, China exports 68,000,000 US Dollars of glass containers to the EU, increased by 16.53%; 98,000,000 US Dollars to the U.S., up 23.8%; 24,000,000 US Dollars to New Zealand, up 126.44%; and 20,000,000 US Dollars to Australia, up 143.05%.
