Vitro Packaging, Inc., in conjunction with Coca-Cola, has developed a new 12oz glass bottle design with the iconic Coca-Cola contour bottle shape.
This 12 oz glass Coca-Cola bottle is available at one of the largest retailers late this summer and into the fall. The Glass bottle is provided by Vitro Packaging and comes in a full color six pack carrier, which makes this a complete package.
The new 12 oz glass design will build brand value with the current demanding customer, while also meeting the growing concerns for consuming environmental-friendly products.
“Today, glass is the best material of choice for launchings in “Premium” presentations and products that are looking for the characteristics of Sustainability, Purity and Recyclability from their packaging materials”, states Horacio Trujillo, Marketing Manager for Vitro Packaging.
Glass is the only packaging material to be categorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as “generally recognized as safe” (GRAS).
According to a survey conducted by Newton Marketing & Research of Norman, Oklahoma, consumers prefer glass packaging for maintaining the purity of food and beverages (78%), preserving a product’s taste or flavor (75%) and maintaining the integrity or healthiness of foods and beverages (82%).
Vitro Packaging, Inc. is a premier supplier of glass bottles/containers for the wine, liquor, beverage, food and cosmetic industries.
