A 30-million-yuan high-borosilicate glass tube project settles in Liangcheng, Inner Mongolia

Recently, Qinhuangdao Wente Glass Technology Co., Ltd has invested 30 million yuan in building a high-borosilicate glass tube project in Liangcheng County, Inner Mongolia.

The project designs the novel high-borosilicate glass tube production line by drawing on the experience of all existing lines in production and design and making use of raw materials such as quartz sand, Borax Pentahydrate and boric acid, and Chinese domestic equipment. The production line has the capacity in producing lights and process tubes: 25 tons of glass vacuum tubes per day, 9,125 tons of glass per year when not in cold repair and 8,375 tons of glass when in cold repair. Averagely, it produces 8,875 tons of glass every year and has a great potential for future development.

The project is expected to complete and put into production in 2010.

After completion, the project will create more than 7 million yuan of annual profit and 300 jobs, which play a positive role in energy conservation and economic expansion.
