Recently, as the soda ash companies cohere with each other in Southwest China, the market shows a temporal stability and a weaker competition in forcing down the price to gain market shares.
The prevailing EXW price of light alkali is 1,000- 1,050 yuan/ton, with several companies selling in lower price for large storage; the prevailing price of heavy alkali is 1,250 yuan/ton. Because of bad market conditions in China, the local manufacturers are looking for other ways.
Besides, for lack of natural gas, some local companies may be impact in the middle December in production.
