Import links value added tax of graphite increased

The State Council has approved the value added tax reform in 2009 and the adjustment for the value added tax of minerals. From January 1, 2009, the import links value added tax of all the listed minerals will be adjusted from 13% to 17%, including natural graphite in flakes (No. 25041010), spheroidized graphite (No. 25041091), natural graphite in powder (No. 25041099), and other natural graphite (No. 25049000).
