Tata Chemicals recognised as best chemicals supplier by Hindustan Unilever

Tata Chemicals Limited (TCL) has been recognised as the best supplier in the chemicals category by Hindustan Unilever (HUL) at an award function held recently to commemorate completion of 75 years of HUL in India. The award was based on feedback received from multiple units of HUL across India. Suppliers were judged on their efficiency on parameters like responsiveness to customer requirements, order fulfillment, and product consistency, among others.

Shohab Rais and Aditya Khera of Tata Chemicals recieving the award from Nitin Paranjpe, CEO and MD, HUL, and Leena Nair, ED (HR), HUL Speaking about the achievement, R Mukundan, managing director, Tata Chemicals, said, "Being in a commodity business, our direct interface with end users is through the productsmanufactured by the organisations where we supply our soda ash. The Tata Chemicals stock closed the day at Rs.174.75, down by Rs.2.30 or 1.30%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.182.90 and low of Rs.169.20.
