In order to relief the impact of the global financial crisis on key exporting industries of light industry, China National Light Industry Council (CNLIC) has submit a proposal on the adjustment of export rebate rate to some related departments. With strong supports, export rebate rates of some light industrial products have been raised for 3 times.
To further reconfirm the adjustment of export rebate rate, on February 8, 2009, CNLIC convened a meeting with some industrial associations to discuss about this issue. According to the meeting, China National Association For Glass Industry (CNAGI) submitted the related materials and explained the suggestion on increasing export rebate rate of daily-used glass. It suggested that the unadjusted export rebate rate of daily-used glass shall be at least raised to 11%.
