On March 12, Auto Glass Insurance Seminar was held in Beijing.
At the meeting, experts stated that due to the untrained auto glass maintainers, more than 20% of auto glass is unqualifiedly installed, leaving potential safety threats.
Auto glass can keep out wind and rain as well as features of light transmission and heat preservation. It’s also an important part of auto security system, relevant to personal safety. According to the survey of Auto Glass Committee, in China auto glass repair market, it is difficult to stop fake auto glass, unqualified adhesives and improper installation.
According to the self-discipline rule of the industry, qualified installation persons of auto glass shall be trained and the polyurethane adhesives for auto glass must be adopted in replacement.
