Xinyi Glass brings in the first production line for PV thin-film conductive glass

With the increasing demand for renewable energy, Xinyi Glass works for non-silicon solar glass. The company plans to bring in the first production line for PV thin-film conductive glass (TCO glass) in China, stated Dong Qingshi, the CEO of Xinyi Glass.

According to Dong, the production line has the annual production capacity at 680,000 square meters. With 100 million yuan of investments, it is expected to be on trial production on the middle of 2009.

As there is no TCO glass maker in China, Dong said that although the company are making a survey on the market for the product pricing, the company is dominant in it.
