CAS releases glass coating standard

China Association for Standardization (CAS) has officially implemented technical regulations for auto glass coating and architectural glass coating respectively with the index number of CAS141-2007 and CAS142-2007. The regulations are drafted by CAS and SINOMA Equipment & Engineering Corp., Ltd.

These two standards give regulations on technical indexes including the light transmittance, heat insulation and explosion protection. Experts believe that the implementation of the standards will drive the elimination of unqualified products in glass coating market and improve the updating of glass coating technologies.

As the first drafter, SINOMA Equipment & Engineering Corp., Ltd has been taking an attitude of scientifically, precisely and responsibly setting the standards. The implementation of two standards will further regulate China’s auto glass coating and architectural glass coating market and serve as a reliable reference for customers to get the best glass coatings.
