A seminar for 'Coated Glass Production Procedure' held in Shanghai

A seminar for the industrial standard of 'Coated Glass Production Procedure', hosted by China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association (CAIGA), was held on March 27-27, 2009 in Shanghai. Leaders of CAIGA, leaders and specialists of Coated Glass Committee and 38 specially invited delegates were attended the seminar.

Participators spent one and half day discussing and modifying the standard item by item. The seminar brought to an end with a requirement that each drafting member shall complete the work on schedule and ensure the compilation and reporting of the standard on time.

Zhang Baiheng, Secretary-General of CAIGA, concluded that under the glass industry woes, the market of coated glass, a new energy-saving product, has showed rapid growth. So, it is more urgent to complete the definition of the coated glass standard as soon as possible to guarantee a healthy development of coated glass industry.
