China will raise the tax rebate rate on some textile, iron and steel, nonferrous metal, petrochemical, electronic information and light industrial exports starting April 1. The decision was made at an executive meeting of the State Council on March 25. The export rebate rate for glass containers was raised to 11%.

Affected by the global financial crisis, daily glass industry is under the same case with other industries as well: export falters and production reduces. To relief the industry’s burden and promote the healthy and steady development, China National Association for Glass Industry (CNAGI) has reported repeatedly to urge the government to raise export rebate rate of daily glass products.

With the effort of CNAGI, export rebate rates of major products of daily glass industry are raised to different extents.
