Float glass price in China's major cities rose by an average of 1.05% in April

According to the updated statistics issued by Department of Price Supervision of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), in early April, the average price of 5mm float glass was 25.12 yuan/m², up 0.26 yuan/m² month-on-month or 1.05%, however down 4.49 yuan/m² year-on-year or 15.16%.

Among those cities, price of float glass in 14.69% of those cities including Shanghai, Nantong, Wenzhou, Zhengzhou and Changsha rose, among which pice in Wuhan city increased by 6 yuan/m² or 20.69%; price in 26.83% of them dropped by 1.0-4 yuan/m², among which price of 5mm float glass in Ningbo, Zhejiang dropped by the most to 16 yuan/m² from 21.5 yuan/m² in last month, down 25.58%. Prices of float glass in the rest of those cities keeps steady.

Prices in Guangdong and Guangxi appeared to be on the high side.
