Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI Nanotechnology), global developer and exclusive licensor of patented hydrophobic nanotechnologies, announced today the signing of a five-year license extension in the South Pacific with its partner “Diamond-Fusion New Zealand”, a uniquely managed operation that served DFI as a Case Study 5 years ago.

Unlike anywhere else in the world, New Zealand’s special market conditions procured the building of a special partnership between DFI and New Zealand’s Partners Niki and Paul Morrison, who gave birth to Diamond Fusion New Zealand over five years ago. New Zealand’s modern, prosperous, developed financial systems is one of the world’s most free market economies, ranked first in life satisfaction and fifth in overall prosperity in the 2007 Legatum Institute Prosperity Index.

“Diamon-Fusion® (distributed as ‘Diamond Fusion’ in New Zealand) is now widely known in the market as the best glass protection available in New Zealand. In highlighting the value-add of the product line, we’ve been able to educate the market on its amazing benefits and return on investment; we are delighted to renew our license for another five-year term as DFI truly provides a unique business opportunity unlike any other product we’ve seen”, commented Niki Morrison, Managing Director of Diamond-Fusion New Zealand.

Guillermo Seta, Executive Director of DFI Global Operations, stated: “Our business in New Zealand has been growing steadily, offering a high degree of entrepreneurship and partnership loyalty. It remains the only market where we’ve allowed a ‘full branding’ given the unique characteristics of NZ —a testament to our valued partnership”.

DFI Nanotechnology multi-functional characteristics include: water and oil repellency (hydrophobic and oleophobic,), impact and scratch resistance, protection against graffiti, dirt and stains, finger print protection, UV stability, additional electrical insulation, protection against calcium and sodium deposits and increased brilliance and lubricity. DFI’s nanocoating works at nanoscale levels to change the molecular composition of any silica-based surface. Diamon-Fusion® provides, in chemical terms, a ‘cross-linked’, ‘branched’ and ‘capped’ optically clear nano-film along with a strong and durable covalent bond.
