Shahe knocks down 22 chimneys of glass plants

In Shahe city, Hebei, 22 chimneys of 16 glass plants were knocked down recently. It died out about 3,520,000 weight cases of backward capacities, which could reduce 1,020 tons of sulfur dioxide, 85 tons of chemical oxygen demand and over 490 tons of smoke and dust.

Since 2007, Shahe city has taken several actions to totally knock down 170 chimneys and close glass lines with daily melting amount less than 100 tons, successfully reducing the backward capacities. Till the end of this year, all the 194 backward glass lines will be cleared in Shahe city.
