China Luoyang Float Glass Co., Ltd. Clarified Media Reports

On June 18, some related media reported that China Luoyang Float Glass Co., Ltd. would carry out the project of new energy production line of Ultra-thin super-white solar glass in Longhai Electronics Co., Ltd., which is in the charge of China Luoyang Float Glass Co., Ltd. and China National Building Material Group Corporation (CNBM) would reorganize it. For this, China Luoyang Float Glass Co., Ltd. issued a clarification notice today.

China Luoyang Float Glass Co., Ltd. said that production line is a line for producing Ultra-thin glass. Since been put into operation, it has produced Ultra-thin glass until now. In 2008, it produced a total of 1.035 million boxes of Ultra-thin float glass. Due to the age of kiln, after the cold repair of production, the company has considered to upgrade the technology and the problem of products orientation. The company planed to produce ultra-glass based on producing ultra-thin glass. But the plan hasn’t been confirmed. Besides, China Luoyang Float Glass Co., Ltd. has inquired CNBM and confirmed that it wouldn’t reorganize the company in the next three months.
