National emergency glazing company Solaglas Windowcare is pleased to announce that it has become a patron supplier to the prestigious British Hospitality Association (BHA).

Part of the Saint-Gobain Group, the company has been granted Patron Supplier status by the BHA which represents some 9,000 hotels, 11,000 restaurants and 19,000 contract catering units.

"We are delighted to welcome Solaglas Windowcare as a patron supplier", said Bob Cotton, chief executive of the BHA. "This is one more invaluable service that our patron suppliers provide to our members. Their service is vital in times of urgent need and I’m sure will be much appreciated by members," he added.

The successful application to join the BHA further boosts Solaglas Windowcare’s profile as the business seeks to extend its reach into the retail and commercial market. Managing director, Ian Davy said: “Now, more than ever retailers are looking for an efficient service to ensure damage to their premises is secured quickly and repairs made to the highest standards – ensuring the safety of staff and customers. In the current economic climate, it is also important that damage to plate glass does not inconvenience guests or interrupts normal operations too much.”

Solaglas Windowcare employs 340 people serving commercial sector clients through a nationwide network of highly skilled, directly employed engineers and glaziers from Its UK-based contact centre and factory, with the support of bespoke real-time workflow system. For more information, visit
