The basic situation of China's export glassware in the first half of 2009

According to customs statistics, the export amount of glassware reached 876 million U.S. dollars during January-June, increasing 33.65% compared with the same period last year; 604 million kilograms in quality, increasing 13.52%; the average export price 1.45dollars/Kg, increasing 17.73%.

The characteristics of glassware export in January-June are as followed:

1. the general trade exports occupied the dominant position
2. continue to grow exports to traditional markets in Europe and America
3. private enterprises and foreign enterprises export grow up quickly
4. in the first 6 major cities, Shandong grew faster
