Yaohua Glass: Innovation and wealth

Under the global financial crisis, Yaohua Glass continued to create innovation to strengthen the capacity to risk resistance, keeping economy developing smoothly. In January to July this year, the industry in Qinghuangdao completed the industrial added valueof  12.25 billion yuan. The overall industrial economy has shown a "fly against the wind" posture.

For these years, Qinhuangdao actively encouraged and guided enterprises to insist on technological transformation, technological innovation, industrial restructuring and accelerate improvements in the core competitiveness of enterprises. The measures were to make the Qinhuangdao’s economy out of the woods.

As the cradle of China's glass industry, Qinhuangdao Yaohua Glass Group made outstanding performance. Yaohua Glass exported 1.4536 million heavy boxes, 74.77% more than the same phrase last year, with 20.5065 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 48.25%.

The vice director of Yaohua Glass, Cao Hong said, “we can get such achievements, due to the government’s help and the company actively adjust the industrial structure.” Facing the difficulties, Yaohua Glass took the risk to produce Sapphire Glass. Through unremitting efforts, the company exported 512,000 Heavy Boxes Sapphire Glass, monthly average of 73000 heavy boxes. Sapphire Glass became one of the reprehensive sorts.
