The world's largest industrial Silicon projects settled in Kangding, Sichuan

Recently, Ganzi Atlantic Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. held ground-breaking ceremony in Yuanyang dam, Kangding County for the first phase of solar-grade polysilicon project with annual output of 100,000 tons. Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, Huang Xiang, Spain Weilamier Group CEO, Weilamier attended the ceremony.

The project was divided into two phases to construct. The first one is to establish 50,000 tons silicon factory with investment of 230 million yuan. The second is to establish 50,000 tons silicon factory and 10000 tons/year solar-grade polysilicon plant with the investment of 2.8 billion yuan. Adding with supporting construction of hydropower stations and ancillary facilities, the total investment reaches 820 million euros. The project is estimated to be completed in four years. The world's largest and most technologically advanced industrial silicon production enterprises will be born in Ganzi. This is also the Ganzi biggest-ever foreign investment project in the history.
