Fengyang Silicon industry showed off in Shanghai

October 19, Fengyang County held "Silicon (glass) Industry Development Forum" in Shanghai. According to Fengyang County's industry development plan, Fengyang planned to realize the aim to achieve silicon (glass) sales revenue of multi-billion dollar industry to 2022.

Fengyang County is a famous as "hometown of crystal" with quartz stone reserves of over 10 billion tons and Ore silica average content of  over 99.3%.Grade and reserves are among the first in East China and also in the forefront at the national. Fengyang "hundreds of billions of silicon (glass) Industry Development Plan" has passed Expert review demonstration at the end of 2008 and was listed in Anhui 861 Plan Action.

The governor  of Fengyang County, Fan Dijun told the reporter that there were only two glass enterprises before 2002, but at present, there are 35 glass enterprises. The aim of holding this forum is to set up a communication and cooperation platform to promote Fengyang's resource advantages as well as catch the correct developing direction guided by the scholars.
