BOE and TOSEA achieved a procurement Letter

Taiwan Optoelectronic and Semiconductor Equipment Association (TOSEA) and China Panel maker BOE signed a procurement  letter on November 5. BOE will buy 8.5-generation LCD production line equipment from Taiwan.

Representatives and 18 members  from Taiwan Optoelectronic and Semiconductor Equipment Association (TOSEA) present at the procurement meeting held by  BOE aim to discuss the building plan of 8.5-generation LCD production line. At prensent, BOE Technology 8.5G LCD plant is under construction. Nearby, another 8.5G glass production line is uder construction too. This production is carried out by Corning. As a result, BOE don't worry about the supply of glass any more.

The agreement of 8.5G LCD line equipment purchase letter speed up the pace of plant construction. Adding with 6G LCD line in Hefei, BOE is becoming the leading brand of domestic LCD industry. After completed, 8.5G LCD production line will have a capacity of 90000 glass substrates. BOE welcomes other companies with good production capacity and quality to join this purchase letter.
