Saint-Gobain: Innovative Design And Environmentally-friendly Technologies For London College

Post Time:Nov 24,2009Classify:Company NewsView:327

The construction work has just started on a new building for Ravensbourne College, the well-known college for design and communication, located directly on the Greenwich Peninsula in a new business district. Innovative design and environmentally-friendly technologies are intended to architecturally demonstrate the orientation of the college: ultra-modern design standards are combined with the claim of sustainability.

As can be seen from the model photos, model window panes were predominantly used in the construction project. Flachglaswerk Radeburg manufactured and supplied these panes for Gebr. Schneider, Stimpfach. Insulating panes were produced using SGG Planitherm One as the outer pane, and on the inside SGG Stadip with SI film for soundproofing in the circle, semicircle, quadrant, segmental arch and round arch variants. The college building is due for completion by 2011.
