On July 31, Hangzhou Network Culture Association was founded. At the opening meeting, the “Articles of Hangzhou Network Culture Association” was reviewed and passed; president, vice president and secretary general of the first council were selected.
About 65 key websites of Hangzhou, such as Alibaba, China Glass Network, HangzhouNews, BlogCN and 19lou, signed a “Self-discipline Convention to Publish Civilized Contents” to establish a green home on the Net together.
As the first network association in capital cities of China, the Association will promote the development of Hangzhou Internet Culture Industry and give full play of Internet to improve the development of Hangzhou society, economy and culture, and the socialist ideological and ethical progress.
